Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
ConvertPixie is built around a simple idea: the most private way to handle your images is to never send them anywhere. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Your images are never uploaded
Every ConvertPixie converter runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you convert a HEIC, JPG, PNG or WebP image, the work happens on your own device. Your images are never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by our servers or anyone else. When you close or reload the page, they're gone from memory.
What we don't collect
We don't require an account, and we don't ask for your name or email to use the converters. We never collect the contents, names or metadata of the images you convert.
No tracking cookies
We'll say it plainly: ConvertPixie uses no tracking cookies. We don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't build a profile of you. The converters work without any cookies at all.
Basic, privacy-respecting analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count visits and understand which converters are useful (for example, page views and general country). This data is aggregated and is never linked to your images or to you personally.
Third-party libraries
Some converters load an open-source library (such as the HEIC decoder or a ZIP helper) from a content delivery network so the conversion can run in your browser. Loading a script may expose your IP address to that CDN, as with any website resource, but your images are not sent with it.
